If you are BIPOC, in the greater Seattle area and you have an idea for a cultural space that you would like to make happen then consider applying for the BASE: Build Art Space Equitably 2024/25 cohort. Spend 9 months exploring the intersection of community development and commercial real estate development. Applications due May 31st 2024. Sessions begin in June and run through March 2025. Sessions are generally 3 hours once a month with a few longer intensive sessions.

BASE participants are paid $25 per hour to be a part of the cohort, meals are catered for every live session, basic costs (childcare, travel, etc) can be reimbursed as well.
